September is here and that means we've started another school year. Whether you're a seasoned pro with older kids, a newby to kindergarden, or you have kids headed this way eventually, you won't want to miss this months speaker.

Carolyn Brown joins us this month to help us learn to navigate public schools. Who do you talk to about transfers? What is title 1? Why can I only bring food after 2:10pm? Why aren't our test scores mailed out? What do I do if...? Learn who to talk to about what and how to navigate life in public schools.

Carolyn Brown is a child advocate and has been a volunteer in the public school system for nearly 20 years. She has 2 children and resides in Austin.

Please RSVP at you earliest convenience to ensure we have enough food for everyone. Dinner is at 6:30, followed by a brief APOM business meeting, our speaker at 7pm and breakout groups at 8pm.
